Not at all! On the contrary, it's an amazing feeling! Gentle scratching and skin tracing is gentle, rhythmic, and will never cause pain, manipulate muscles or break the skin. Ever had your back scratched? It's unbearably good!

The most common scratch areas are the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands and legs. Occasionally feet have been requested. 

There are different rounds of scratching, depending on the session you purchase. All sessions experience scratch tools, whether it be natural nails, acrylic nails, fingernail extenders, bristle brushes, feather fans, etc. Please provide your preference and you are able to change it at any time during the session.

This is not a massage. It's different, but equally restorative. We use surface-level, gentle scratching instead of forceful muscle manipulation with the hands. Clients find it calming, emotionally grounding and extremely relaxing.

Our signature is gentle scratching, however we have one session called The Duo Deluxe which combines a 45-minute Swedish massage and a 45-minute scratch session. Unbelievably good.

If you have any medical or mental health condition, it's always safe to consult with your primary care doctor or therapist. If you have severe skin conditions or you are a ticklish person, this may not be for you.

That depends on your body and your lifestyle. Some clients come weekly for a reset or regulation, others come monthly for healing maintenance. Memberships are available if you want to create a ritual of care.
